T.H.E. Swan writes character focused novels with deep issues but sprinkled with absurd humor and fantastical elements in an alternative timeline to our world.

The main genres that are explored are women's fiction, historical fiction, historical romance, magical realism, steampunk, sci-fi/fantasy, portal fantasy, and speculative fiction.
